KES_Translate Language Services is run by me, Karen Stokes. I have been trading since 2002, providing expert French-to-English translation, editing, proofreading and terminology management services to translation companies, business clients, law firms, international organisations, NGOs and individuals. I am based in Norwich, in the east of England.
Specialising in business, law and international development, I have established a strong reputation for accurate, carefully researched, well-written texts, absolute reliability and rigorous professional standards.
As a Chartered Linguist, Fellow of CIOL and member of ITI, all my work is carried out under their respective codes of conduct and I undertake a regular programme of continuing professional development (CPD) to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. I regularly revise French-to-English translations for colleagues in the profession and provide editing and proofreading for English texts written by non-native speakers, as well as style guide and glossary creation services for businesses and other organisations.
